Upcoming Sheriff says He Would Beat People Who Film Cops for “Sheer Joy”

We’ve just received reports that members of Cop Block were targeted with what appears to be a violent threat, possibly a death threat, from an upcoming sheriff.

Cop Block is a decentralized organization that promotes police accountability by going out and filming cops to document abuse, as well as by engaging in acts of civil disobedience.

“If you were a law abiding citizen you wouldn’t have any problem with 5-0, but something tells me you were probably being a jackass towards a police officer and you got what was coming to you, and that inspired you to make a page giving a bad name to all law enforcement,” says the individual who posted the threat.

He then says that he would beat citizens who film cops, for “sheer joy” and adds that he’s about to train for a position in the Washoe County Sheriffs department.

“…I hope some cop beats your ass next time you’re “protesting” or filming them or whatever. In fact I’m about to start the training academy for the washoe county sheriffs dept in Reno, Nevada and I can’t wait to deal with punk ass bitches like you. I would beat your fucking ass just for the sheer joy of it.”

To make matters even worse, he says he wishes that Cop Block members would be rounded up exterminated in gas chambers.

“If I had my way, there would be another holocaust with camps and gas chambers full of fucking cunt scabs like you. I hope you die.”

Friends, this individual may soon be roaming your streets with a loaded pistol if he has his way.

Cop Block has identified the individual as Darren Redding and copy/pasted the threat in its entirety to their Facebook page, stating ”While it’s rare that we receive direct death threats, they must be taken seriously, especially when they come from someone… who is about to become a Law enforcement agent / Sheriff.”
